Refund Policy
Effective date: 3 April 2026 · Last updated: 3 April 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments are handled for Function Labs Career Assist.
1. Subscription plans
If you purchase a recurring Function Labs Career Assist subscription, you may cancel renewal at any time through the billing settings or customer portal made available to you.
Unless otherwise stated: cancellation stops future renewals; you will usually retain access until the end of the current paid billing period; fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we decide otherwise in our discretion.
2. One-shot purchases
If you buy a one-time Function Labs Career Assist feature, credit pack, or one-shot access product, that purchase is generally non-refundable once the service has been delivered, consumed, generated, or materially used, unless required by applicable consumer law; there was a duplicate payment; there was a technical fault preventing delivery; or we determine a refund is appropriate in the circumstances.
3. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you believe you were charged in error, charged more than once, or billed after a valid cancellation, contact us at support@functionlabs.co.uk with your account email address and transaction details.
4. Failed service delivery
If a paid feature fails due to a technical issue on our side and we cannot reasonably provide the purchased service, we may at our discretion: reissue the service; restore access; provide account credit; or issue a refund.
5. Abuse
We reserve the right to refuse refunds where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, fraud, policy abuse, repeated refund exploitation, or breach of our Terms.
6. How to request a refund

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
