Function Labs Career Assist is an AI-powered career support platform that helps users create, improve, tailor, organise, and manage career-related content, including CVs, cover letters, job application answers, job-specific materials, and interview preparation content.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Function Labs Career Assist. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details; all activity carried out through your account; and ensuring the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.

Function Labs Career Assist may offer free features, one-time paid features, and recurring subscription plans, including an Unlimited plan. Payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method.

For subscription plans: billing may recur automatically unless cancelled; you can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing tools we provide; cancelling a subscription will usually stop future renewals, and access may continue until the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise.

For one-time purchases: access or usage rights apply only to the purchased feature or package; one-time purchases do not renew automatically.

Function Labs Career Assist uses AI to help generate and improve content. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any generated content. JobJitsu does not guarantee: job interviews; employment offers; legal compliance of submitted materials; factual accuracy of AI output; or suitability for a specific employer, recruiter, or role.

You retain ownership of the content you upload or submit, such as CVs, cover letters, job descriptions, notes, and profile information.

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and use that content only as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and support Function Labs Career Assist.

You confirm that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that doing so does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You must not use Function Labs Career Assist for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive purposes; to create false employment records, fake references, or misleading application materials; to impersonate another person; to upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service; to scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the platform without permission; to upload data you have no right to use; or to generate discriminatory, harassing, abusive, or unlawful content.

Your use of Function Labs Career Assist is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect personal data.

All rights in Function Labs Career Assist, excluding your own submitted content — including branding, software, design, text, graphics, features, and underlying technology — belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of JobJitsu except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Function Labs Career Assist at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will always be error-free.

You may stop using Function Labs Career Assist at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms; we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud, or unlawful activity; or we are required to do so for legal, security, or operational reasons.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Function Labs Career Assist is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We exclude all implied warranties to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; loss of profit; loss of opportunity; loss of data arising from your use of the service; or reliance on AI-generated output.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another mandatory law applies in your place of residence. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer rights.
